October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection, and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease.

It is curable if detected in the early stages therefore early detection goes a long way for the people who have it, especially in countries like ours (low developing).
Currently, there is not sufficient knowledge on the causes of breast cancer; therefore, early detection of the disease remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control.
So this month, you should go get checked at a clinic near you as well as continuously check yourself at least every month, what we call Breast Self-Examination because this will eventually help you notice if there is something unusual.
So tag a friend, sister, cousin, mother, auntie, niece and go to check out your breasts.
